The last few years they had a management change. And not for the better. This used to be where I always ate breakfast but I rarely go here anymore cuz the food sometimes is bland, pricy compared to others, and sometimes not served as ordered and just poor overall service. Bring back old management.

Our group of 6 sat at the table for 45 minutes before getting our food, and it came out cold. Pathetic service, never coming back to this location.

My friend and I came here awhile ago when we were having a 'girl's night' the food was great, they didn't take long to make it and we didn't really have any problems. The only thing that kept it from being a 5 star is our waitress wasn't that friendly- and I waited 15-20 minutes for my water to be refilled. But the food and atmosphere was really great there.

All day type food with competition from Denny's across the street. This place got the work vote everytime. Plenty of things for the various types of people in the group to try. Can't really go wrong with IHOP. It's good at what it aims to do.

My pet peeve: Food served not matching menu pics, C.I.P, "Double Dipped French Toast;" imagery in the "corporate" menu, hooks you, however, beware, not as advertised! Dismayed at the appearance of my food, I asked to speak to the person who cooked it. The waitress must have heard this before; she immediately deflected by saying, "I'll just have them remake it," and I agreed. Despite waiting an inordinate amount of time for the reorder, nothing changed! At check-out I asked the manager what kind of training do the cooks get, he answered, "they are trained in making the menu items." Then he asked if I was dissatisfied, I said yes, and explained why. So the "take it off the bill" offer was made, but I told him I would pay; he insisted to remove it (not what I wanted). This wasn't the restaurant's fault. Corporate should take pictures of actual meals. On the bright side, food was delicious..
3.5 solid stars for this IHOP location. I've dined here several times and have not had any issues. The food is good, the wait staff is good - prompt and efficient and the prices for the food are reasonable. The menu offers breakfast items under 600 calories for those watching their diets. Overall, a good location - good, but not great food. Definitely will be back.

IHOP! Who doesn't love IHOP? IHOP has a fun waitstaff. They're usually always friendly, with quite a few interesting faces thrown in. They even gave free food to support the joke lumberjack club at my high school. The menu is your standard breakfast fare - but they usually have some sort of deal (holiday pancake special, all-you-can-eat, or something) available. I generally get some flavor of pancakes, as that's enough to fill me. That, and there's always a lot of coupons. But money stuff aside, the food actually is decent. I'm pretty sure it's not really the healthiest place to eat, but if you ignore that you can't go wrong. Prices are reasonable. Service is fast. I enjoy the ambiance. It's very casual and local, but not enough to make the place run-down or anything. And it always feels very relaxed and quiet, but not in a creepy way. A great place to go with friends or family, for any occasion (okay, maybe not a formal dinner).

I've come here few times. I'm not one to complain. But every time I've come here , the food has been OK. All the visit I've had to return the food because it was tasted spoiled . Wait staff could be nicer.

My wife and I went for breakfast on a weekday morning around 9 AM. There were very few people dining at this time. There's a sizable breakfast menu. I had a skillet, which consists of diced red potatoes (lots of them), green peppers, onions, cheese and two "scrambled eggs" on top. It was priced at $6.99. For my taste, there were too many potatoes and the scrambled eggs were more like an omelette plopped on top. I would have preferred to have the eggs scrambled and mixed in with the veggies. It was served with two buttermilk pancakes or toast. Our waiter was courteous and attentive. They provide a carafe of hot coffee at each table. Our waiter continually stopped by to ask if I would like another cup. As a matter of convenience I may come back and order something else. I think there are better places to eat. The restaurant and its bathroom were clean. Parking is adequate and access is good.

I have two good experiences at two different IHOP's lately. Today, a business meeting at the Vernon Hills location resulted in a healthy omelet (fresh spinach, tomato and mushroom, hold the cheese), large fruit serving and some decent hot coffee. Service was good. I'd go back.

So I ordered the country-fried steak and eggs. The eggs came just as I ordered, a solid over-medium. The the gravy on the steak was a bit skimpy as was the quantity of hash browns, but all-in-all a decent I HOP breakfast. I'm sure we'll be back.

Part of six is considered a large party. Tip of 15% added to bill. Not a great start. Even when we asked the manager, we got a shrug. Place is not run down, but it is dated. Server was very nice and accommodating. We were 6 in our party. Food was ordered and came quickly, Coffee was tepid and did not taste fresh. Meal was IHOP fare...heavy and just not the best for you. Kids enjoyed it. Cannot say that I was an overall fan. Do not plan on returning, When I travel to a restaurant at 6 on a Friday and it is not busy, I should just know better.

I so want to give them more then 2 stars but after the service we had not really able too. I ordered a omelet with light cheddar and lots of vegetables and fruit. My hubby ordered eggs ham and hash brown with pancakes. They brought me my omelet with some white cheese all over it and salas and no fruit. I asked them to correct it they did but got my fruit at the end of my meal. My poor hubby waited for what seemed forever for his ham. They were not busy at all witch made it harder to understand why the poor service. Not sure I will be back.

My fiancée and i decided to come here one morning for breakfast. As we walked in we were not greeted but quickly seated as we were escorted to our table i was looking around the restaurant and like most of us would agree "YES OUT DATED" but that isn't my main concern. when we reached our table we sat down and i noticed the floors were "DISGUSTING!!!" it looked like a family of four had sat there with some kids there were leaves food and paper all over the floor which happened to be next to our table eventually it was cleaned up. After we left our waitress was very kind but it seemed like she was doing 3 jobs at once she would take a drink order ring someone up and eat another person in that exact order. Where is the management?? or maybe they're understaffed I'm not sure whatever the case maybe the food i can't complain about "ITS I HOP PEOPLE" All in all i feel they need much improvement and perhaps a new manager maybe my waitress might make a good one. After all she earned 2 of these stars herself
